There are many train stations and bus stations in the county, the main ones from Plymouth Train Station to Penzance Train Station are: Liskeard Station, Bodmin Parkway, Lostwithiel, Par, St Austell train and bus station, Truro, Redruth, Camborne, Hayle, St Erth & Penzance Train Stations.

Bodmin Parkway hire car and vehicle rental is a good central point from which to explore towards the north of the county (they also have a live steam connection from here into Bodmin town). Par station rental vehicle – Collect your rental car from here to get to Fowey, an historic seafaring town with its tortuous streets edging the waterside, affording glimpses of vessels of every description.

Looe Station Car Hire – Change at Liskeard and Par stations. Looe offers visitors a picturesque sandy beach, small lanes with smaller shops and a working harbour. From here take the beautifull Coast path to Polperro and return by bus or boat.

St Austell station hire car another central station to explore the beauty of the South East of Cornwall with your rental vehicle. Truro and Falmouth Station Car Hire – Change at Par station and Truro station. Truro is Cornwall’s commercial and admin centre, with its three spired Cathedral and Georgian town houses, also home to the Royal Cornwall Museum, Art Gallery and excellent shopping centre. From here travel to Falmouth Town and walk around the busy streets of Falmouth, or drive your hire vehicle up to Pendennis Castle.

Soak in the views as the coast sweeps past the golden beach at Carbis Bay to St. Ives with views of rugged cliffs and the bustling harbour.
